Lorraine has been registered as a psychologist since 2001 & has a PhD in Clinical Psychology. She is a member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, & has clinical psychology endorsement with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Lorraine has worked in private practice with clients of all ages, & specifically with children, young people & their families in several public mental health services. Lorraine enjoys connecting with people & feels privileged to be able to share & assist in peoples' lives. Lorraine has a therapy dog (a toy cavoodle), who is sometimes with her in the room.
Peaches is Dr Lorraine Brown's therapy dog and is usually with her when she practices. She is a toy cavoodle, very small and loves people and cuddles. She takes her work very seriously but has been known to sleep on the job. Peaches has completed Lead the Way Animal Assisted Training over 6 days to be able to be included in Dr Lorraine Br

Currently you can access up to 10 sessions per calendar year to help offset the costs of private psychological therapy. Currently you can access up to 10 sessions per calendar year to help offset the costs of private psychological therapy. If you have your bank details listed with Medicare, we may also be able to process the Medicare rebate on your behalf. Unfortunately bulk billing is not offered. However, if you have private health insurance extras with psychology, you also may be eligible for rebates but not in addition to Medicare.
